Local Activities

For those looking for an activity holiday, whether you want to catch a wave, kite-surf, kayak or sail on Cornwall's first wildlife-watching eco boat trips, Cornwall has an exciting experience to offer you. If you’ve ever wanted to Scuba dive then Kennack Diving can offer trial dives in St Ives or a range of dive experiences. If you want to go fishing then both St Ives and Penzance offer a number of trips.

St Ives, a haven for art lovers and home to the famous Tate and Hepworth galleries as well as a number of small galleries and unique shops, is only three miles away. The fishing harbours of Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole, with its picturesque setting are well worth a visit, especially for those who love fresh fish.

The Sea and Coast

The South West Coastal Path offers miles of walks with sea and coastal views, and access to some of the rich mining heritage of west Cornwall. The romantically situated open-air Minack Theatre with its spectacular views across Mount's Bay to the Lizard is a short distance away.

Days Out

Further inland, the world renowned Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan make for a memorable day out. The unique experience of Land's End and the spectacular St. Michael's Mount are both within easy reach
